Why would you be tired after eating all of those calories? This is because the meal you had caused a sugar surge in your blood stream. When your blood sugar spikes, so does you insulin! Insulin is your safety net to stop your blood sugar going too high. if it does you will get sick or even die. This happens in diabetics! Most of the time your body will store this excess sugar as body-fat. I can stop this happening by eating low carb, right? Yes, your right. If you eat low carb you will stop your blood sugar from spiking, however a lot high protein foods will make you sick and after the initial weight loss will stunt your progress.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;SHOULD I START DIETING?  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You need to approach weight loss from the angle of lifestyle rather than just diet. If your body is healthy it will be lean! if you are overweight your body is sick!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For most effective, long term results you need to look towards healthy living. Most people try to avoid this because it seems like the most difficult option. In my opinion it is actually the easiest. A lot of people you know will encourage you to keep eating your favorite foods but cut your portions. These foods are often foods that you have addictions to, so cutting down on a long term basis will be impossible. The only way to deal with them is to cut them out of your diet! As this is the only way to be rid of the addiction.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once you have replaced the poisons for real foods you will love your diet. it will taste good and you will always feel satisfied!
